Technium
Technium is a commercialization initiative in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy, the US National Labs, Alta Ventures, BMC Global, and a growing network of public and private research universities. With a goal of increasing the successful launch and sustainability of high value tech companies, we have created an information platform, $125,000 in prize money in the International Business Model Competition, and a chance to incubate with the Alta Group.
Participants in the BMC Global are given the opportunity to take technologies provided by Technium research institution partners through the competition for a chance at winning an exclusive license to commercialize the technology and cash prizes. Participants who compete with a Techniuim technology can win an additional $10,000 cash prize. For more information about the initiative and to scan through the technologies that are available to BMC Global participants click on the Technium Website link below. |
